During the last four years our sighting percentage has been 131%.
This comes from hunter seeing more than one bear. 63% of our
hunters have taken shots with 62% of these being successful.
The largest bear taken was 415 pounds and the average weight was 184
pounds. Again this year, the means of taking the bears varied from
guns to bows. We have 75-80 active bait sites.
By having this many baits, you can be assured that no matter
what week you choose, you will be hunting a bait site that
hasn't been hunted before. The price for the 2001 bear over Bait is $950.
This price includes meals, lodging, guide service,
and transportation while hunting.
