Infused banana bread sounds like a delightful accompaniment to last week’s infused tea, so we jumped online for a tried-and-true cannabis infused banana bread recipe. This banana canna bread has been modified from a recipe posted by Robert Bergman at ilovegrowingmarijuana.com.
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup cannabutter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 Greek yogurt
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine the melted cannabutter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, and stir to combine. Fold in the Greek yogurt, mashed bananas, and walnuts. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until a tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
Bonus tip: make sure the loaf pan is perfectly centered for even browning on top. Enjoy your banana canna bread with a little extra dab of canna butter. And don’t forget the tea!
