We’re ready for sweaters, cozy blankets, Halloween costumes, and all those fall flavors, which is why we’re bringing you this cannabis-infused smoked mac n cheese recipe from the good folks at Pot Guide. Let’s be honest—the only way to improve mac n cheese is with a cannabis infusion, right?
Infused Smoked Mac N Cheese
This insanely delicious dish comes together really fast—assuming you have some canna butter on hand. If not, that’s where you begin. We like Leafly’s basic cannabis-infused butter recipe. Once you have that sorted out, you’ll need your basic homemade mac n cheese ingredients. Forgot the boxed stuff—this is a scratch recipe and it’s absolutely worth the grating.
- 1/2 cup cold canna butter
- 1 tbsp melted canna butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup flour
- 4 cups milk
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
- 1 pound penne pasta, cooked
- 1 cup shredded smoke mozzarella
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- 1 cup shredded American or Swiss
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Preheat the oven to 350. Bring the milk to a simmer and add the canna butter, seasoning, and all cheeses except the parmesan Stir to combine, then add the cooked pasta. Stir to combine, then pour into a baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine grated parmesan and breadcrumbs, then sprinkle evenly over the pasta. Bake until golden, about 30 minutes. Enjoy!
